Xbox-Bethesda Working on “Multiple” Disney-Licensed Projects – Rumor

Esports commentator Joey McDermott alleges the same, citing a source that supposedly leaked Bethesda's welcome to the Xbox family.

Remember Indiana Jones? The MachineGames-developed title based on an original story by Starfield director Todd Howard is being developed with Lucasfilm Games. Of course, this was announced before Microsoft acquired ZeniMax and its associated studios including Bethesda Softworks. Are there any other potential Disney licenses that the studio has in development?

Apparently, yes. Esports commentator Joey McDermott responded to Timur22 on Twitter about the same, stating that, “Not sure what order they came in, but Xbox-Bethesda has multiple Disney-licensed projects in the works.” When asked whether this was speculation or based on sources, McDermott  said, “Sources. For what it’s worth, one of the sources is the same one that leaked this nearly a full month before anyone else mentioned it.”

This was allegedly before the first public mention of the welcome event by journalist Jeff Grubb on Twitter (which occurred in February 2021 end). Take things with a massive grain of salt though. Neither Xbox nor Bethesda Games has so much as hinted at other Disney-licensed projects in the works.

If any announcements were to be made, they could be at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase on June 12th. Stay tuned for more details and updates in the meantime.
