Similar to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire is completely based on player actions and the choices they make. Jade Empire mashes up RPG and brawler based elements as players can increase their stats while leveling up. The fighting is based in real time with the use of bare fists and melee weapons.
This game is easy to get sucked into; the lengthy story follows characters through a range of chapters of their life starting with the protagonist attending a martial arts school but gets interrupted suddenly when ghosts are summoned to attack the students. With multiple endings, in-depth story and fun gameplay, Jade Empire received a strong cult-following that would love to see a remastered edition for the Xbox One.
