Silent Hill played an integral part in paving the pathway for the survival-horror video game genre. Although, unlike other survival-horror titles that rely on quick jump scares and the abundance of grotesque characters flocking your screen, the developers opted to take the game to a different direction. The Silent Hill series always relied on the lack of visuals, a truly eerie atmosphere, music and sound effects to raise the heart rate.

We would love to see a remastered collection of Silent Hill that could range from Silent Hill Origins, the original Silent Hill through Silent Hill 4 along with the more recently released entries such as Homecoming and Downpour.
