Almost worth opening it up. Almost.

Xbox One S

The Xbox One S has its fair share of surprises, even if they’re not all performance-related. If you didn’t know better, you could’ve sworn that Master Chief took up residence inside the console. As it turns out though, that’s sort of the case.

Well, sort of. Austin Evans on YouTube (starts at 1:16) opened up the Xbox One S and discovered a tiny little Master Chief of Halo fame engraved into the console components. It’s pretty cool though as noted by many, opening up your Xbox One S can void the warranty.

As for the Halo series, we won’t be seeing it anytime soon. Halo Wars 2 has been delayed into next year and will be out on February 21st 2017 for Xbox One and Windows 10. A beta was available for the same on both platforms shortly after E3 2016.

What are your thoughts on Master Chief potentially living in your console, if only in spirit? Let us know below.
