A lot of Rare franchises may have been mismanaged by Microsoft, but that doesn’t mean the studio hasn’t been up to anything cool. Their seafaring swashbuckling title Sea of Thieves launched on the Xbox One a couple years ago, and though it was something of a disappointment at launch, Rare quickly managed to turn the ship around. Sea of Thieves in its current state is a bloody good game, full of enjoyable things to do, beautiful sights to see, and exciting places to explore. A sequel to it also seems highly likely, given how successful it’s been for Microsoft and for Game Pass, and we honestly can’t wait to see where Rare takes this franchise with a second game.
