The Witcher 3

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been available to pre-load on PC and Xbox One for a while now; meanwhile, PlayStation 4 players have been left wondering when they will be allowed to download the game ahead of launch. Well, never fret, PlayStation Witcher fans! The pre-load for the game is now finally live, at least in North America.

The download is 9.5GB (which is significantly smaller than the file size for the pre-load on PC), and it also lets you download a 482MB day one patch, meaning there should be minimal delay for you once the game launches next Tuesday.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the final installment in Geralt of Rivia’s story, though CD Projekt RED have hinted that they might want to return to the world of The Witcher in future games. It has gotten rave reviews everywhere, and already exceeded 1 million units in pre-orders alone. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for further coverage of the title, including our own in depth review.
