We’re getting a whole lot new trailers for Quake Champions now, presumably to drum up interest in the game ahead of its upcoming closed beta. Take the one that we just got today- this trailer highlights a second, brand new character for the game, Scalebearer.
Scalebearer is a heavy character, good for charging at foes and dealing massive damage to them. Of course, when he uses this ability, he doesn’t have much finesse and grace (he’s like a bull in a china shop, so to speak), but as long as you are charging in cramped quarters, or you are oriented in the right direction, then that shouldn’t be much of a problem.
Scalebearer, much like the previously shown Nyx, will be one of the characters who will be playable in the upcoming Quake Champions beta, which is due to begin in a few weeks. You can check out the trailer showcasing him below.
