Magnamalo – Monster Hunter Rise
As the new flagship monster, Magnamalo had a lot to live up to. Fortunately, when players finally fight it for real, it proves to be an incredible, multi-layered threat unlike previous encounters. Tail whips and blasts, purple clouds that can detonate, Hellfire adorning its various parts, and heaps of projectiles are just some of the attacks that Magnamalo can unleash on wayward Hunters. For all the added mobility that the Wirebug provides, Magnamalo requires caution and timing especially when using the new skills. Though sadly left by the wayside in the grand scheme of things (at least, before the true ending was added), it’s still an absolute unit.
