3. Elder Scrolls Online: (Windows, MAC, PS4, Xbox One)
Elder Scrolls Online is bringing a lot of gamers back to their favorite titles, but now allowing us to play with friends. What started as weary excitement has now turned into a test of patience while players wait for this online world to open up. The game takes place about a thousand years before the events of Skyrim and while there won’t be any dragons this time around The developers appear to have really tried to marry the online experience to a good, fulfilling story and player driven gameplay like the previous Elder Scrolls games. It’s a bold undertaking that could really pay off for the game and it’s players. Even if you’re not a fan of MMO’s this one may be worth keeping an eye on, especially if you’re a big fan of the previous Elder Scrolls games. The fact that this is being launched on not only the PC but the PS4 and XBONE also makes this game an interesting one, since many MMO’s haven’t really ventured onto consoles; this is a largely untested demographic and it will be interesting to see if it pays off for them.
