Sony’s E3 2018 presser was a strange beast. The format was odd with a major reveal at the beginning going to an intermission after it was over. However, what we did see looked incredible. There were some surprises and awesome exclusives to look forward to with some of the best looking games in the business. Let’s take a look at the top shocking and surprising announcements from Sony at E3 2018.

The Last of Us: Part 2

Right out of the box, The Last of Us: Part 2 looked incredible. There’s no two ways about it. The contrast in cinematic presentation with the outright violence of the gameplay, the gorgeous lighting and atmospherics of the environment, the fluid character animations – everything looked perfect. While the lack of a release date was a bummer, more gameplay like this down the line isn’t unwelcome. Well, unless you hate murder because hoo boy, does The Last of Us: Part 2 have murder.
