SOME DISAPPOINTING SIDE QUESTS

God of War

The Lake of Nine was full of optional activities and side quests, and some of these were legitimately great (like the Valkyries, for instance). A few side quests though were not quite up to suff. Either because they weren’t designed well or didn’t contextualize themselves with interesting stories, or because they didn’t go where we were expecting them to (for instance, we wouldn’t have minded fighting one of those dragons from the side quests), or because they did not end with very meaningful rewards. Enough of them were good enough that we want to see more side quests in the next God of War– we just hope they’ll be more engaging and rewarding.
