FALLOUT AS SURVIVAL HORROR
Fallout as a series has always had shades of horror (often much more than just shades), while survival elements have also played a crucial role every so often. But more than that, it’s the setting of Fallout that lends itself to the survival horror genre so well. Imagine playing a game where you’re a lone wanderer in a terrifying post apocalyptic world and have to constantly deal with things such as scrounging for resources and inventory management. It’s almost too perfect. We recently dedicated an entire feature to this notion in fact, and the more we think about it, the more we grow convinced that this is something that has to happen.
