Dead Space 3 was one of the many casualties of the  rush last generation, but even though a companion took all the suspense out of what was ostensibly a survival horror series, the threat of the Necromorphs still looms. The original title ended with Issac sacrificing himself to let others escape from a Necromorph moon and planted lame sequel bait with an audio only transmission. They followed up with the Awakened DLC, but that expansion makes the mental state of the protagonists dubious at best, and even if it didn’t, still lays more sequel bait to never be fulfilled.
