Ryse: Son of Rome – Motion Capture
Ryse: Son of Rome may not necessarily have been the best playing game when it launched for the Xbox One last year, but it certainly stood as a reminder of the visual splendor that could be achieved on the Xbox One if developers put their mind to it. As with all Crytek games, Ryse looks simply great, and in this case, a lot of it is possible because of the 1:1 motion capture, that made all the in game character models look so real, their movements, animations, and expressions so realistic. The game may have made a lot of concessions, in terms of both gameplay and graphics, to get there, but it’s very hard to deny that what it did do well graphically speaking, it did very well.
