PES 2015 – Realistic Character Models

While The Phantom Pain isn’t due out until next year, we still have a game that runs on the next generation Fox Engine technology powering that game here and now, and it is Konami’s PES 2015. Although last year’s game was the first one in the series to transition to the new engine, it was still targeted at the Xbox 360 and PS3, so it didn’t exactly get the chance to flex its graphical muscle. Not so this year. This year, Konami seems to have gone all out, and this is the most apparent in the character models. Both FIFA and PES have tried to emulate realism in their character models as much as possible over the years- your game won’t feel real unless your player models in game do, after all- but what Konami achieved with PES 2015 this year is on a whole another level, and a ringing testimonial to what we can expect from the Fox Engine going forward.
