Leviathan – Gears of War 2
Gears 3 had the sheer spectacle of the Lambent Leviathan and using the Silverback exo-suits for the first time. But the Leviathan in Gears of War 2 was a more nuanced fight overall. Being out on the water in a dingy craft before being assaulted with little space to move around made it feel more personable. This led to awesome moments like chainsawing its tendrils and chugging grenades into its mouth to kill it. Not the best boss fight ever but a cool moment amid all the cover shooting.
