ASSASSIN’S CREED 4: BLACK FLAG
Since its inception, the Assassin’s Creed franchise has prided itself on its immersive, authentic, historical open world settings, and though there’s a multitude of them that deserve praise in this area, for the purposes of this list, we’re going with Black Flag. The game very much deserves that recognition though, because its open world Caribbean setting is easily one of the best things the Assassin’s Creed series has ever done. Naval exploration and classic AC parkour blended together perfectly in Black Flag, making for one of the best and most memorable open world titles we’ve ever played.
