Abrupt Endings
Imagine spending any number of hours to finish a story, expecting a strong resolution. And that it kind of ends. Granted, the ride would have been nice – like in Dishonored where you survive betrayals and sinister plots to rescue Emily Kaldwin – but a few static panning cutscenes to conveniently wrap up all those choices? That’s it? Mirror’s Edge from EA is a much worse offender – after Kait rescues her sister, the two simply look out at the city and fin. Unacceptable.
