Batman Arkham series
WB Games Montreal’s Arkham Origins is a decent entry, but we’re focusing solely on Rocksteady’s Arkham games here, encompassing Arkham Asylum, City, and Knight. Enrapturing, free-flowing combat with engrossing stealth and detective work, the Batman Arkham trilogy raised the bar for video game comic adaptions. But cementing this series’ legacy is how faithful Rocksteady were to the source material. Both gameplay and narrative demonstrate a deep understanding of Batman’s steely resilience, and the inspiration he gives us.
