NieR: Replicant ver.1.22474487139…
Even after all these years, NieR: Replicant still offers one of the more depressing post-apocalyptic worlds in gaming. The desolation of life due to the Black Scrawl; the creation of new societies in the wake of this collapse; the Replicant project, where clones were meant to reunite with their Gestalts or Shades – there’s just so much about the setting and world that’s still worth examining, despite its heaviness. Of course, ver.1.22474487139… takes this further by adding a new route and ending, revamping and improving the combat, and significantly sprucing up the visuals.
