Naughty Dog’s highly anticipated sequel isn’t a somber road-trip across the remnants of the United States but it’s no less personal or intense than the original. Going from the serene settlement of Jackson to the chaos in Seattle and debauchery in Santa Barbara served to highlight the contrasts that exist after humanity’s fall. Though primarily focused on the conflict between Ellie and Abby, The Last of Us Part 2 still served up a number of gloomy and downright tragic side stories while providing some excellent combat and exploration.
