Bulletstorm
Most noticeable in Bulletstorm is the outrageous recoil on its guns. Make no mistake, this is a specific design choice intended to convey immense sensations of power to the player. Imagine it was real life for a second – shooting the industrial scale guns in Bulletstorm would take an immense amount of strength; strength, which clearly, player character Grayson Hunt has in abundance, owing to his past as rugged black ops assassin. His discernible grunt is depicted superbly in the unfussy way he reloads a weapon. He stuffs bulky cannonballs into the Bouncer like oranges into a juicer. Quad barrel shotgun the Boneduster kicks like a mule, but folds like liquorice come time for Grayson to reload its shells.
