Obviously, anyone and everyone would expect a game claiming to a proper, full fledged RPG to have looting in some capacity. Thankfully, it looks like Horizon: Zero Dawn will also have loot play a major role in the way you play the game. Players will be able to fight and defeat all the robotic dinosaurs that occupy the game world, and will be able to extract different electrical parts from all of them and make use of those parts in order to craft different weapons and items.
