While Fallout 4 doesn’t have a shortage of light-hearted moments across its desolate and dangerous environments, the actual start to the game is anything but. We open up to our player character leading a life of prosperity with their family just when a Vault-Tec employee comes knocking at the door with an offer to reserve space for the family in their bunkers in case of a nuclear attack. And sure enough, when that happens, your protagonist is subjected to a deep cryo-sleep with your one and only baby with your partner. As you wake up though, you witness your baby being abducted by strangers and when your partner resists, he is promptly killed which kick-starts your journey to find your long-lost infant.
