Bungie – Destiny 1 and 2
Reboots, cut content later repackaged as DLC, massive bugs, questionable design choices, the firing of Marty O’Donnell – we could go on and on about the development issues for Destiny 1 and 2. However, one does feel a little bit of sympathy for Bungie. Ever since the launch of Destiny in 2014, the company has been under constant pressure to deliver on fan requests, never mind the vocal part of the fanbase that continues to ravage it for its mistakes. Destiny 2 was no different with fans angry over the removal of key features and many quitting the game entirely. Though the atmosphere today is slightly better given the recent patch 2.0.0, the pressure on Forsaken to deliver the “Destiny 2 that everyone deserved” is higher than ever.
