Destruction AllStars
Ever since Destruction AllStars was first announced, the game seemed like a spiritual successor to the likes of Twisted Metal with its whacky art style and chaotic gameplay. But that short bursts of adrenaline-laden gameplay never really build towards something special, thanks to boring progression and game modes that are simply not fun. Furthermore, a lot of the single-player content was locked behind microtransactions which adds to the frustration of it all. Destruction AllStars had many trappings of a great game, but it didn’t come close to fully realizing that potential and ended up as yet another disappointing PS5 exclusive.
