Johnny Proposes (Metal Gear Solid 4)
Johnny is something. Let’s go with that. He’s actually kind of handsome in a way. Anyway, he saves Meryl here and they have a neat little bonding moment. Then Johnny professes his love for Meryl and asks her to marry him. What the? To Meryl’s credit, she brushes it off for his horrible sense of timing but this is one of those thing that felt oh so Hollywood in the moment and pretty dumb afterwards (especially since they actually got married in the end).
