Galuf Defies Exdeath – Final Fantasy 5

Galuf comes off as annoying at first and it’s later revealed that he suffers from amnesia. However, he’s actually from the Second World and played a part in sealing the evil Exdeath away. His real name is King Galuf Halm Baldesion and Krile, one of the playable characters, is his granddaughter. Fast forward to Exdeath tricking our heroes into destroying the Crystal Guardians and using the magic against them. Krile attempts to fight Exdeath but is taken down, which causes Galuf to snap and fight Exdeath by his lonesome. It may not seem like much of a match but Galuf simply refuses to fall, causing the villain to flee in fear. Galuf does pass away after his power is drained but his love for his granddaughter still remained, even after death.
