Ghost of Tsushima
Tsushima in Japan’s middle-ages is recreated here to beautiful extent; pastoral, refreshing, and vibrant. Exploration via guiding wind is an exceptional inclusion too, working perfectly within the context of this feudal land that an abundance on on-screen waypoints would tarnish. A dual approach to combat is something Ghost of Tsushima excels in whereas other open world games attempt but ultimately don’t pull off. Engaging in direct confrontation for rapid fire Katana battles is balanced perfectly with player-character Jin’s “Ghost” alter ego, allowing you to deploy stealth tactics to assassinate enemies.
