Nintendo’s Italian plumber isn’t the only one who’s made the jump from platforming to kart racing. In 1999, after three successful platformers, Naughty Dog made Crash Team Racing, a true competitor to Mario Kart, and a game that remains beloved by many to this day. Over the last couple of years thanks to Activision, Crash has made a return with his exploits as both, a kart racer and an expert jumper, and it’s been a glorious comeback indeed. Here’s hoping for many more adventures with the iconic mascot.
