FALLOUT

No, we’re not talking about how Fallout boldly went where no Fallou game had ever gone before- the shared world looter space with Fallout 76. The less said about that, the better. But this franchise as a whole has tried a lot of other things. Originally a classic pen-and-paper inspired cRPG, Bethesda turned Fallout into an RPG-first person shooter hybrid, and in both these eras, Fallout stunned one and all. Hell, the series has even tried its hand at turn based real time tactics with Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel, which was also a pretty great game.
