Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

You could pick just about any Uncharted opener and it’d fit on a list like this, but A Thief’s End manages to outdo its usual high standards. Nathan Drake and his brother Sam begin the fourth game going full throttle on a motorboat dodging missiles and showers of bullets. It’s a rollercoaster of a section that finally gives a glimpse into what Nate’s brother was like. Of course, the actual game takes place 15 years later with a retired Nate contemplating life and, well … we know how that went. Uncharted 4 rarely slows down the brakes from the initial boat escape sequence, providing some of the most thrilling action the series has seen.
