Final Fantasy 13
With so many resources behind it, Final Fantasy 13 is a game that should have been better than it was. Though one could be subjective on the likeability of its characters and the battle system, tropes like towns and exploration were done away with in favour of linear hallways and cinematics. It also didn’t help that the story and world-building just weren’t all that interesting. Sadly, Square-Enix didn’t get the memo and delivered not one but two sequels to Final Fantasy 13. At least its follow-ups attempted to fix the original’s shortcomings.
