As a fan of the Banjo-Kazooie titles on Nintendo 64, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts is just baffling. Who thought it was a good idea to de-emphasize the platforming? Who thought creating vehicles and racing was a good idea, especially when handled in this way? The controls were passable and the aesthetic was fine if a bit freakish. But all the charm of the previous games was gone, replaced by weird design decisions and frustrating gameplay.
