Rainbow Six Siege – Outbreak Packs

Rainbow Six Siege - Outbreak

Even before Apex Legends arrived on the scene, Ubisoft was peddling some real cash grab insanity with Rainbow Six Siege’s Outbreak. The mode itself was lots of fun and introduced 50 exclusive items to the game via random packs. You receive four packs for free (10 if you bought the game’s Advanced Edition) so clearly you’d just grind the mode for more, right? Unfortunately, no – you had to purchase the packs separately to get the cosmetics and they were only available one other time in the game’s history. As for Outbreak, not only did it never return but Ubisoft went even further and turned it into a full-fledged paid game with Rainbow Six Extraction. And you just know it’s going to have its own microtransaction nonsense.
