Radical Heights
Following the failure of Lawbreakers, developer Boss Key Productions was in a bad way. So it decided to bite the bullet and pool its remaining resources into, you guessed it, a battle royale title. Radical Heights released in April 2018 for Steam Early Access and…wasn’t very good. With titles like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Fortnite Battle Royale at the height of their popularity, it was viewed as a very blatant attempt – not unlike The Culling 2, which released in June 2018 – to cash in on the genre’s fans. Not only was it in a deplorable state at launch but it failed to generate any real revenue and Boss Key would shut down just one month after its release.
