The Destroyer – Borderlands

After racing through the Borderlands, fighting off bandits and the Crimson Lance, you finally get to the mythical Vault. It opens and instead of untold wealth, a giant monster called The Destroyer emerges instead. So you kill it, expecting some kind of payoff but that’s more or less it (unless you discount the whole Interplanetary Ninja Assassin Claptrap nonsense). That wouldn’t be the last we’d see of The Destroyer but this was far from a satisfying conclusion.
