After Necropolis crashed and burned, Harebrained Schemes is thankfully going back to the turn-based strategy well with BattleTech. Even better, it’s a franchise that director Jordan Weisman himself created back in the days of FASA. BattleTech will feature the ability to customize one’s mech to an absurd degree along with various skills. With the Succession Wars continuing to rage in 3025, it’s ultimately be up to the player which house they want to serve. Sadly, there’s no cover system. Such are the sacrifices that must be made for development. BattleTech is out in April for PC.
