Vamp – Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

Vamp is insanely durable thanks to the nanomachines in his body, shrugging off a head shot in Metal Gear Solid 2 among other things. However, when injected with a nanomachine suppressor by Snake at one point in Metal Gear Solid 4, his pain tolerance started going down. After his final battle with Raiden, Vamp is in a state of utter woe (which, hey, being sliced up and falling off of Metal Gear REX will do that) but still alive thanks to the nanomachines. It’s only when Naomi gives him another nanomachine suppressor and he injects himself with it that Vamp finally dies for good.
