Yes, Wolfenstein technically received a sequel in 2019 with Youngblood which focuses on B.J. Blazkowicz’s daughters Jesse and Zofia. The shooter adopted a more non-linear approach to its mission design along with some RPG elements and co-op support (with the AI controlling the other sister when solo). Aside from the result being mostly bad – to say nothing of all the bugs and questionable design decisions – it felt less like a true continuation of the story, and more like a side-story.
Whether a proper sequel is in the works or another reboot happens, it needs to return to the series’ FPS roots and have us control Blazkowicz for one last mission.
