Arthur’s Death – Red Dead Redemption 2
Despite everything the player does, Arthur’s fate seems to be sealed. The van der Linde gang’s downfall, their betrayal at the hands of Micah and eventually, his contraction of tuberculosis all seem a given. Nevertheless, Arthur continues to fight to the end, battling Pinkerton agents to help John escape before having to fight Micah in a bare knuckle brawl. Dutch eventually intervenes and if the player has high honor, Arthur is left on his own. The sun rises, his wheezed breathing eventually quiets and he passes on to the great frontier beyond.
