LOST PLANET 3
After two successful initial outings, Lost Planet had the potential to become an important franchise for Capcom, but all of those notions were quickly put to bed by the disappointing Lost Planet 3. Its tonal and narrative shift was an interesting one, but sadly, where the actual gameplay experience was concerned, there was plenty to dislike, from the uninspired shooting mechanics to the aggressively mediocre level design. At a time when the likes of Gears of War and Uncharted were setting new standards for what third person shooters could be, Lost Planet 3 felt a bit too bland.
