Gabe Newell wasn’t shy about expressing how much he hated the PS3 and its Cell architecture. The Valve boss famously lambasted Sony’s console and the process of developing it as “a waste of everybody’s time”- seeing Valve’s next big game, Portal 2, being announced on stage at Sony’s E3 conference, then, was a huge surprise.
Man, remember when Valve used to actually make games? (Ha ha, what an original, totally-not-overdone joke, right?)
