Mr. X Appears – Resident Evil 2 (2019)
Its appearance in the original game was done well, capturing that foreboding atmosphere one would expect from a Resident Evil title. In the remake however, Mr. X stole the show. As the player walks down a hallway with a crashed helicopter blocking their way, it’s suddenly lifted up by the trench-coat wearing behemoth. The numerous appearances it made after that, walking determinedly down hallways, punching everything out of its way and checking its head if you shot its hat off, were great but it was the very first appearance that’s still the best.
