Hunters on the Prowl – Resident Evil (2002)
In contrast to the zombies in Spencer Mansion, the Hunters were quick, agile and incredibly vicious. Their introduction was also handled well, especially in the remake, with a first person cutscene of the Hunter leaping up passages and traveling through corridors as one wondered just what could be moving so fast. While dispatched easily enough with two shotgun shells, their relative abundance – and killer leaps – made each encounter a harrowing one.
