Okay, so Jason Brody is unequivocally one of the worst protagonists ever. But Far Cry 3 Remastered, on top of including one of the best villains ever in Vaas, offers an utterly compelling version of the tropical open world from previous Far Cry titles. Wing-suiting, clearing outposts – which felt significant rather than copy-pasted across the world – using only a bow and arrow, going wild with a flamethrower – Far Cry 3 was full of awesome moments in both its story and side missions.
