The Pathless
The world, such as it is, is under the thrall of a curse which originates from an island. As The Hunter, the player must cleanse the various Tall Ones residing on the island and put an end to the curse. Chaining together shots and filling one’s dash meter allows for seamlessly exploring one’s surroundings but there’s also an eagle companion that provides the occasional flying. With an emphasis on exploration and puzzle solving, culminating in massive boss battles, The Pathless is a somewhat unconventional open world title that’s compelling all the same.
