The Forest
Endnight Games’ The Forest is an unusual beast. It takes place in an open world with various survival mechanics like base-building and crafting. There are no missions or objectives per say but its core story focuses on saving one’s son after a plane crash, which is a tall order considering the cannibal mutants roaming the island. Various mysteries abound – like the strange offerings the mutants make – and despite its survival horror bent, it’s weirdly addictive.
