Devil May Cry 5
It’s not enough that Capcom decided to go with a more realistic, down-to-earth look in Devil May Cry 5. The sequel is also using the RE Engine, which provided the visual splendor seen in Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil 2. The animations look gorgeous and fluid; the textures, whether it’s Nero’s coat or the grisly design of demons, are sharp; and the environments seem relatively lived in. Frame rate performance on consoles still needs some ironing out but otherwise, this entry is looking stylish.
