Trek to Yomi
Channeling the cinematic style and aesthetic of Akira Kurosawa films, Trek to Yomi is a side-scrolling action adventure by Leonard Menchiari and Flying Wild Hog. The monochromatic visuals lend well to this story of Hiroki, a swordsman fighting to protect his village, venturing “beyond life and death” in the process. Along with other swordsmen, players will also deal with supernatural entities. With a distinctive style and combat, Trek to Yomi is already looking like a must-have title en route to its 2022 release for PC, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
